Philadelphia: A. Finley, 1824. 11 x 8 5/8 inches. Very nice old map with beautiful contemporary coloring. The Mississippi River dominates the center of the map. With very little settlement in the West in 1824, there are only a few parishes shown in the northwest of the state. Baton Rouge is well placed and name visible within the compilation of this map. Overall a very nice period cartographic artifact is placed on this sheet of Stiff quality paper. Very good with two marginal stains not affecting the map portion of this print. Pls see pic. Item #226
