Philadelphia: A Finley, 1824. 11 x 8 5/8 inches. Beautiful copper engraving that was hand colored at the time of publication. Subtle full wash pastel colors differentiate the counties. With a riverine economy dominating crop production, the rivers of the state are boldly presented. Mobile Bay is the receptacle into which the majority flow. Overall, this is a most desirable early map of Alabama. Very good condition. Item #292
